Top success coaches of 2021 | Featured in Yahoo Finance!

I’m proud to share that I’ve been named one of Yahoo Finance’s top success coaches for 2021! Being featured on top publications -especially for my body of work around breakthroughs and success mindset was one of my biggest desires for 2021!

If you have a big desire, keep it. It’s not too big. It can happen. It’s happening. It’s yours.

Here’s my full feature:

Stephanie Booth, Founder of The Breakthrough Method

Stephanie Booth is a mindset coach dedicated to helping female entrepreneurs break through their self-imposed limitations, clear their biggest money blocks and achieve the success they desire. She is an expert at identifying patterns to human behaviours and using those patterns to turn destructive tendencies into empowering ones.

Stephanie’s method of coaching draws heavily on difficult personal experiences. She almost destroyed her first business due to intense fear and almost-daily panic attacks. And when she found herself grieving a miscarriage, a lost business deal, and a few additional losses, she was heartbroken and depressed.

Despite these hardships, Stephanie found a way to turn her life around. She recognised the patterns of her behaviour and started rewiring her mind for success, not her comfort zone. She realised that every breakthrough she ever had followed a set of phases, and that the only thing keeping most people from a breakthrough in income or confidence was their ability to stay focused throughout these phases.

After transforming her own life, Stephanie developed the Breakthrough Method to collapse her yearly income into her monthly income, create a deeper sense of self-love, and teach others how to do the same through coaching programs, online courses, and masterminds. Now she is preparing to launch her signature program, Magnetic Minds® in April, which will teach female entrepreneurs everything they need to know about rewiring their unconscious mind for the success they desire.

Stephanie’s work leads to clients achieving goals, a spike in energy, and a magnetic sense of confidence and happiness. Her mentees are known for blazing trails, creating unique, personality-driven business practices, and innovative, cutting-edge programs and offers – all because they have tapped into the limitless potential of their unconscious mind.

How I break through limiting beliefs | the 5 phases of a breakthrough

The breakthrough cycle

I teach that all personal and professional growth follows a natural pattern-plants follow this growth pattern and humans do as well. I call it the Breakthrough cycle. Just like a plant was never meant to stay a seed, we were never meant to remain in our comfort zones. So…what happens next?

The 5 phases of a breakthrough.jpg

I recently had an amazing breakthrough around setting goals and believing my goals were “big” or “difficult”.

I went through each of these steps and along the way, I felt so reassured and confident because I knew what was coming. I knew that good things were already on their way to me.

The comfort zone

This is the place, not of comfort, but of familiarity. Even if what’s familiar is pain, poor treatment, disappointment, self-abandonment, frustration, and feeling judged or overlooked. Until we recognize that we get who we are, we can’t really change our results.

And when we decide we want something we’ve never had before, we step outside of our comfort zone and into:

The tension phase

During the tension phase, any limiting belief or block we are holding that prevents us from being successful will come up for us to deal with. For people unaware of the Breakthrough Cycle, they get wrapped up in the drama of it all, putting out fires and feeling frustrated and stressed with life.

We don’t need to have a tension buildup before a breakthrough- I think it’s important to clarify this. Tension ONLY builds when we hold limiting beliefs that conflict with our ability to accomplish our goals or have our dream. Focusing on our dream or goal inherently means that our unconscious mind releases to our awareness anything that prevents us from having it.

The problem is that most of us don’t know this and buy into it. Which leads to a breakdown.

But…if you’re like me and understand what’s happening, you learn to just observe how you’re showing up during the tension phase. Are you showing up with frustration, comparison, self-judgment, and more? How you be now is what you get back later.

Or…as the tension builds, are you loving yourself and others? Are you trusting that everything is unfolding for you, not happening to you? Are you smiling inside, knowing that no matter the external troubles, you know in the pit of your stomach that something good is about to unfold.

The decision point-breakdown or breakthrough?

When our mind is done providing us with our limiting beliefs on a platter, we are left with a decision. We can break down? or Breakthrough?

And every moment we spend judging, doubting, comparing, regretting, hesitating, and more, ensures that we break down instead of breakthrough.

But ever moment that we choose to see the good, we choose to focus our thoughts toward what we want, we celebrate our lives, we choose love and compassion , we are then choosing a breakthrough.

And I think it’s important to say this (this stuck with me after one of my mentors shared this):

You don’t NEED to have a breakdown in order to have a breakthrough…but if you’re going to break down…you might as well break through, right?

So, what is a breakthrough?

A breakthrough is a sudden realization that provides us with clarity, direction, and momentum toward our desired life. It’s that “a-ha!!” moment, the glass-house shattering, the light-bulb clicking on, the sudden awareness where you’ll never see your life and choices the same way again. And deep inside, this “new” realization is not new-it’s truth that you’re remembering after years of smothering it with limitations.

What is a breakthrough (1).jpg

Why do we need breakthroughs?

Breakthroughs change the way we act! Now that we understand things differently, we feel differently-hopeful, an inner knowing in our tummies, curious.

Once we feel differently, we start acting differently. Our actions are fueled by possibility instead of predictability. We act from the place of already having the thing we want-this perspective and the feelings it brings up for us naturally lead us to choose different actions than we would have before a breakthrough.

Now, instead of splattering things against a wall to see what sticks, you’re showing up from the energy of “I do all I can with all I have and I know the universe will meet me with like force.”

And that’s when your results truly change.

When I had a breakthrough around viewing my goals as small rather than big and difficult, I made my goal! I created a $25k month and couldn’t be prouder!

So, is breaking through limiting beliefs worth it?

Absolutely. (see above-confidence, and a $25k month.)

Does it get results?

It’s the ONLY thing that really does get results. It was never force applied. It was the thoughts that created the force…applied in the right direction.

So, next time you feel the tension building, I want you to remember this;

what if the tension in your life right now is just a sign that good things are coming?

What do you think? Have you experienced the Breakthrough Cycle in your life? I’d love to hear about it-comment below and share:

Your dreams aren't too big | What happens when we downgrade our dreams

Copy of breakthroughmethod.coblog (6).jpg

C.S. Lewis once said:

“We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”

This quote came to my mind recently when I created a monthly money goal and immediately thought “I don’t know if I can do that.”

I doubted myself, believed it would be hard to make THAT much money, and more. Oh, the drama.

Have you been there before?

The quality of your life is determined by the questions you ask yourself

As soon as I saw the mental drama for what it was, I chose to change the questions I was asking myself.

Instead of asking myself “is this even possible? I mean…do you have any proof you can do that this month?”

I asked myself: “how would I feel if I had already accomplished my money goal? It’s done. It’s in the past. How do I feel in this moment?”

I felt pride! I felt like my faith was proven right, even when I had no proof.

And I recognized that operating from the plane of possibility is what it takes to create something you’ve never created before.

As soon as I recognized this mindset shift, I asked myself this powerful question:

When did I decide that my dreams are lofty and unattainable?

Because, what if they aren’t? what if, in all actuality, my dreams are only big and difficult because I can’t imagine more than what I’ve created?

But what if what I’ve created is the equivalent of making mud pies in the streets and the truth is that what’s available to me is the holiday at the sea? Would I understand that my dreams aren’t too big…they’re really too small?

Why do we downgrade our dreams?

We want a 6-figure year…but then we feel the need to justify it. We explain why we want it…going so far as to attach some kind of huge charity endeavor to it to prove that we will still be good people if we make a lot of money.

We want the money…and then immediately feel shame, remembering all the times we tried and failed with a goal.

Changing our point of view to increase our abundance

But what we don’t understand is that there’s another entire universe. It’s here all around us and we’ve been blind.

While we were feeling like $10k months was too much, unnecessary, meant we were selfish, or was just hard to make happen, people all around us illustrated that wealth beyond our comprehension is all around us.

  • People driving by you in cars that cost more than you make in a year.

  • Someone carrying a handbag that costs more than you make in a month.

  • People donating to charity more money than you think you can make in your whole lifetime.

While we’re explaining and justifying away our tiny dreams, the world is moving on, creating income we can even understand.

What if we defined our goals through the lens of infinite abundance instead of scarcity and impossibility

Beyond our finite world of predictable and logical, is the creator of an entire universe, who created mind-blowingly complex, illogically beautiful things….because the creator could. Because the creator of the universe is infinite creativity and unlimited potential.

What if we defined our dreams by a standard of what’s possible…not what’s predictable.

On the other side of the veil we’ve been seeing life through, is an entire world defined by abundance and possibility. A world where there’s no maximum to the amount you can charge or make because there will always be more.

The reality is…our biggest dreams are still a drop in the bucket compared to the limitless abundance, powerful creativity, and overflowing love of God.

So…what if your dream isn’t too big…what if it’s too small.

And…what if it works this time?

How I learned to become Magnetic | success coaching for entrepreneurs, madison WI

A taste for what I wanted...and feeling lost

A year ago, I felt pretty lost in my coaching business. I knew there was so much more impact that I was here to make. I had had a taste of that. But I didn’t know that I was still learning so much about how to make the biggest, brightest impact possible. And that meant some awesome highs ($10-15k months) followed by really big lows-($27.12/month).

I couldn’t seem to replicate my success. And it was really bumming me out.

A decision to go all out to rise above my circumstances

When COVID-19 hit in March of 2020, I added to that confusion anxiety. I had done so much mindset work to heal my experience with anxiety and here we were again. It was during quarantine, when the whole world seemed to be struggling and terrified, that I had had enough.

I made a decision at the end of March. NO more letting my circumstances define me. I committed to always always ALWAYS rising above my circumstances.

And, as scary as it felt, with $1200 in savings and my husband’s job on the chopping block, I jumped.

The immediate results

It all started with me. I walked myself through clearing my own blocks and limiting beliefs. I cleared each and every block right were it lived and ran the show-deep in my unconscious mind.

And as I did, I was shocked at the amazing things that began to happen.

First, I began sleeping better at night.

Then, I had a surge in energy and creativity-I felt like the programs, content, copy, and marketing ideas were just oozing out of me! I felt limitless and completely confident.

I was hooked! So I drafted up the steps I had just walked myself through, gave it a name, and decided to sell it.

This is when I made Magnetic Minds®!

And that was the first $10k month I had had all on my own-no team, no ads, just me selling something that had brought me some pretty incredible results already. I also paid off our debt, and found a way to make some of our dream home renos (a fenced in yard! new floors!) From there, I truly felt magnetic in my business. I was creating $10-25k months and my client results were pretty unbelievable too!

It didn’t stop with me-my client results

Many clients who had been struggling with self-worth and anxiety began to report the same experience I had-better sleep at night, a surge in creativity, and sales numbers increasing sharply.

One client DM’d me and said “I don’t know, but ever since we worked together, my business catapulted into the stratosphere!”

Clients were collapsing their previous year’s income into their monthly income. They were creating new products and programs, they were increasing their rates, and they were fearlessly pitching collaborations and product placements.

I couldn’t believe what was happening!

And yet I could. I knew this would happen for them.

I stepped out into the wild blue yonder of my own limitless potential and people were following.

We became magnetic.

It's your turn.

It really had worked for me and there’s a growing number of women on the rise, claiming the abundance, confidence and power that was meant for them.

If my story inspires you...

If the growing tribe of MM alumni inspire you...

If you’re DONE waking up one more morning, feeling the weight of not being good enough, just making it, or feeling like your business is taking away from your life instead of giving back to it, I've felt it too.

And I know just how scary it feels to take a leap and say YES to your vision for yourself and your business.

But...from the other side, I am telling you it's more than worth it..it's a complete no-brainer.

You don't have to keep fighting your limiting beliefs. You can release them completely deep in your unconscious mind during Magnetic Minds.

My 3 favorite tools for my morning mindset routine (2021 edition)

I've been studying mindset-reading, getting trainings and advanced certifications on this mindset passion of mine for years! And by now, I have a few favorite tools.

But there's 3 tools I keep going back to. I go back to them because they're simple, easy, and they work. Today I'm going to share them for you-if you have any questions on these or want to learn how to use these for yourself, programs are linked below

Watch or listen to today’s video to learn my 3 favorite mindset tools AND get a bonus mini-meditation.
*disclaimer-please listen to the mini-meditation when you are in a safe place. Do not listen while driving or other activities that require your attention.

My 3 favorite mindset tools (2021 edition)

Tool #1:

My first favorite tool may not be a surprise-it's journaling. I don't journaling every single day (more on my approach later), but I have journaling down to a tried and true routine that helps me end my journaling session feeling calm and focused, tapped into my creative power, and acting in alignment with my dream life. I love what I do with my journaling practice so much. It's simple, elegant, and very manageable in the wee hours of the morning!

Join Jumpstart and learn how to use journaling to tap into your creative power and manifest 5 figure cash months

Tool #2:

One of the tools I go back to often when I feel a little emotionally blocked up or "stuck," is EFT tapping. EFT, or emotional freedom technique is my favorite resource to help me get my energy polarized correctly and flowing again. If we store emotions instead of properly releasing them, it can cause blockages in our energy (have you ever felt the effects of stress?? That’s blocked energy in the form of pain). EFT helps me shift from a negative energy into a positive one, releasing any stopped up emotions. I tap for just about everything most mornings-worry, limiting beliefs, self-worth, happiness, and more. It's one of my go-to tools to help me manage my state of mind.

Learn how to use EFT tapping to help you release stuck energy here:

Tool #3:

since our minds are set to naturally focus on the negative (negativity bias is the formal name), I use visualization techniques, including how I use my breakthrough board in order to train my mind to focus on my desired life-you know, the one where I feel happy, make more than enough money, love each of my clients on my sold-out calendar, and the one where I have vacations planned with my family (I'm thinking we need to go back to Portugal, asap!).

Learn how to leverage tools like visualization and subconscious mind work to clear your money blocks and create your best month ever:

It's important to me that I make it easy on myself to honor my mindset practice. I do things to make this time enjoyable-sacred almost. I make a delicious beverage (coffee or tea), light a scented candle that I love, and really ease into a space where I am becoming the woman who lives her dream life.
If you want this too, I’d recommend you start with journaling-it’s the most accessible place to start and you’ll notice a change quickly.

Comment below-what does your mindset routine look like?

6 signs you'll thrive-even during hard times | Success coaching for entrepreneurs

This week has been emotionally exhausting. 2020 has been emotionally exhausting. But each of the hard, sad, shocking, outrageous, scary, and angering circumstance is actually supporting us in our ability to thrive.

If you're feeling down...I'll bet that you are doing so much better than you thought. Keep readying through to see my 6 signs that you've got what it takes to thrive during the tough times.

Emotional resilience | The key to thriving

The true key to thriving during hard times isn’t buying the right stocks when they’re low, pivoting your business in just the right way, or having enough experience navigating tough circumstance to know how to rise above them.

all actions result from feelings or emotions.

Emotions are triggered by thoughts.

So…working on your mindset is key, BUT, working on your emotions is also incredibly important to your success.

With each sign, I’ve included a quote-share, repost, pin, etc any quotes that really resonate with you. Tag me at @thestephaniebooth on instagram or link back to this post if sharing on your site or other social platforms.

What is emotional resilience?

Your ability to bounce back from, move on from, or make the best of tough times. Think about it-does it really matter what you do during tough times if you’re doing it with a terrible attitude? If you’re mad at the world? If you are outraged that people don’t feel the same as you?

Those emotions will have a far greater impact than your actions will.

So, if you’d like to build your own emotional resilience, here are the signs to look for:

6 signs that you can thrive during hard times

emotional resilience sign #1

You accept unwanted feelings instead of suppressing, numbing, or projecting them. For me, this one was my biggest step. I felt deeply unsafe experiencing unwanted emotions like, say, anger. For most of my life, anger was only talked about in a negative context and so I avoided any experience where I knew I might feel it.

As I began clearing my own blocks, I started recognizing that emotions don’t last forever. I began accepting whatever I was feeling, and I noticed that as I did, I experienced it less. I didn’t need to feel a surge of anger because I’d feel angry when I needed to and it would subside in less than a minute.

If you’re avoiding your emotions, know that recognizing them and choosing not to change them is an amazing first step. You’ve got this!

Acceptance is an inside job.

emotional resilience sign #2

This one might be my favorite and the most relevant to current events right now: You don't need to convince others around you to feel the same way you do in order to be "right." You honor your own experience.

I used to feel really bewildered and upset at how people were “calling out” influencers for not posting a specific opinion at a specific time. Terms like virtue signaling suddenly became common jargon as those influencers tried to make up for the backlash. I thought to myself “why force something if it’s not a genuine care? Why not educate them and watch them learn how to care about this issue?”

The more I see people shaming others for not expressing a specific opinion at a specific time, the more I realize that often, “shamers” need others to validate their own feelings. And I feel sad that they can’t do that on their own.

We all deserve to self-validate our emotions. We all deserve to say “no matter what anyone else is feeling, this is what I feel. I love and accept myself right now.”

Respect is an inside job.

emotional resilience sign #3

You've created resources that you use to support yourself when you're feeling strong unwanted emotions.

(a self-care menu, a mental health toolkit, etc.)

I’ve shared about my experience with anxiety-my 2020 recap, for example. I am firmly committed to mastering my state and believe that doing so is a hallmark of excellence and success. The other day, I woke up with a familiar tightness in my chest and immediately asked myself “how can I support myself right now?”

I chose a few of my favorite resources from what I call my “Mindset toolkit”, did them, and immediately felt peaceful, grateful, and that tightness in my chest was replaced with an open, swelling feeling of love.

Love is an inside job.

emotional resilience sign #4

You can see and respect another person's perspective without feeling triggered, pressured to agree, or trying to change it.

This has been such a gift from the events of 2020. I’ve really started learning how to understand someone without any need to participate in their point of view.

This is emotional intelligence and leadership .

Leadership is an inside job .

emotional resilience sign #5

You can find silver linings or even have a sense of humor during difficult times.

My husband has a unique ability to joke in almost any circumstance. For most of our relationship, if i was pretty upset at something and he made a joke, I would get mad at him. And honestly, it felt confusing because his jokes were hilarious to me-well-timed and just genuinely funny. (I love his sense of humor.)

Do I laugh? I could feel the sides of my mouth turning up into a smile…nooooo!

BUT I’M SO MAD AT HIM. so I’d shove my mouth back down into a frown…

But dang, that was a good one….and now my mouth was a mangled, confused mix of laughter and anger.

ugh.

I didn’t have the resilience to see the big picture, see positives, and even crack a joke.

A few days ago, amid more national turbulence and my own feelings of fear, I cracked a few jokes. My husband stopped and said “BABE! YOU’RE JOKING!!! Do you know how big a deal this is?”

It was a very big deal.

Perspective is an inside job.

emotional resilience sign #6

You have clear, loving boundaries-you understand that people's words say more about them than you. when people use angry words or attacks, criticize or come at you, that only speaks to their wounds…not yours.

I used to believe everything people said about me. If I learned that someone thought something negative about me, I’d work to change how they saw me. I HAD to! I wasn’t the person they thought I was!! (duh…) Most people show up this way-operating from a need to prove themselves to others. And I’m here to say it’s not needed if YOU approve of you.

Fast forward: I recently received an angry message from someone. Her message to me was filled with anger, conspiracies, and accusations. In the past, I would have felt triggered by the strong emotions and I would have believed what she said about me, entering the conversation with the intention of proving myself to her.

However, this time, I knew that what she said was coming from her own wounds and insecurities, not mine. This is always true. When someone comes to you with strong emotions…that says more about them, than you. This point of view allowed me to release triggered feelings, feel compassion toward her, and then quickly resolve the conflict and move on. I felt completely unphased by her opinions of me. And that rocked my world! YES!

This is one of the biggest signs of compassion-understnading that someone speaks from their OWN wounds and not INTO yours. They can’t. This perspective open us up to feeling deep compassion for them and a desire for them to feel healed and whole.

Compassion is an inside job.

It is always possible to rise above your circumstances | My 2020 lessons part 2

Guys. 2020. When we thought it couldn’t get weirder…or worse, 2020 came back swinging.

And, as I picked my way through the minefield of this year, I learned so much that helped me rise. This post is my unfiltered truth about living and growing this year. Wins and calibrations, confusions, and dark nights of the soul. All of it.

If you’re still in the thick of 2020-ing, I hope my life lessons give you hope. Morning always follows the dark night. And of course, if this speaks to you and you need someone to talk to, please contact me. So, without further adieu,

My biggest lessons from 2020, part 1

Until 2020, I knew in the back of my mind, that I had some issues I wasn’t dealing with. How? Instead of facing them straight on, I was coping…and I knew it. It was honestly one of those “I’ll do it tomorrow” things for me. We all have them at some point. And this year, I grew deeply unsatisfied with settling for them. And in the hardest of years, I faced my fears.

Instead of numbing emotions, in the cold, hard reality of 2020, I’ve seen just how strong I am. Just how capable I am. Just how enough I am. How deeply creative I am. How much I’m capable of creating. How I get to appreciate who I am, even if I am not around others. I’ve been able to get clear on what’s really important to me and I’ve created a clear picture of what I truly want.

What exactly is a coping mechanism?

A coping mechanism is a way in which we numb our emotional pain. Whether unresolved hurts, fears, feelings of loneliness, feeling inadequate or like a fraud, sometimes feeling that way can be too much to handle, so we develop coping mechanisms to protect us and keep us inside of our comfort zone. Coping mechanisms often fall into one of 5 categories:

  • disordered eating (over/under eating)

  • drinking too much

  • phone scrolling/screen time

  • overspending

  • acting out sexually

Letting go of comfort and learning to rise above my circumstances

One night, as I got ready for bed, I unconsciously made a frustrated growl and began throwing our bedsheets around.

“Babe? Are you okay?” my husband asked?
”My sheets are all jumbly.” I said in an exasperated tone.

“Jumbly?? I don’t know what that word means.” He said in a confused tone.
”It’s when the sheets get all tangled at my feet and suddenly my bare feet are sticking out of the sheets because they are all messy!” I explained.

Success is jumbly

I honestly don’t know where I got this word “jumbly,” but sometimes it’s the only way I can think of to explain something that feels messy and kind of frustrating.

Success is an inside job and it’s one I took on with new skills and awareness this year. But the truth is that it has been messy-jumbly, one might say ;) but for me? this year has been about choosing what I focus on because what I focus on is always what I get back.

So in 2020, I’ve created things I’m proud of. Here’s how I did it, in all honesty.

Me rising this year has looked like:

  • Navigating some serious anxiety

  • Learning to next-level accept myself before marketing myself

  • Trying offers that didn’t work

  • Having hard conversations

  • Feeling lonely and misunderstood

  • Some low cash months that I thought meant I was a failure.

  • Feeling scared about covid, elections, and various relational dramas I had never dealt with before.

  • Recognizing my privilege and feeling heartbroken as I deepened my education around racism.

But it also looked like:

  • Creating a toolkit of de-escalation strategies and recognizing how much agency I have in my own mental and emotional health! Coping can be changed.

  • Learning to deeply love and accept myself

  • Creating offers that sold out and got people incredible results (magnetic minds)

  • Learning to speak up for what I need-huge win-speaking up used to feel deeply unsafe.

  • Learning that hard conversations don’t last forever.

  • creating boundaries and realizing how healthy and expansive my relationships could feel!

  • Recognizing that I’ll always make the next right choice for me-I actually can’t get it “wrong!”

  • Gratitude for every payment, celebration for achieving things I desired to, like $10k, $20k, and $30k months, and recognizing that no matter what, my identity and my earnings are two different things.

  • Recognizing that I always have the power to rise above my circumstances. Always and Always. I can do hard things, impossible things, things I have never done before, and things I have failed at in the past. I can. And I will.

  • I get to be a part of a time of action for racial equity. There’s much work to do… and of course I’ll get it wrong sometimes. But am I open to learning through correction? YES. It’s the absolute least I can do in my advocacy journey. the time for change is now and it’s my responsibility to continue taking imperfect action and stepping up with and for BIPOC friends, colleagues, and fellow, equal citizens.

We can have the reality we want. We don’t need to be available for the tradeoffs. And honestly, it’s important that we do. Because us creating our dream reality shows someone else that it’s possible for them to rise above their hard circumstances.

Comment below-what does rising above your circumstances mean for you?

Making impossible goals easy | My 2020 lessons part 1

I recently shared my process for closing out a year in my business-one of the pieces of that process is writing down all the things I learned this year.

After I did this, I felt incredibly grateful for these huge, soul-shifting lessons and wanted to share them with you. So here I am, sharing my real, unfiltered lessons from one of the most stretching years I’ve ever lived:

I’m in the middle of moving from one software platform to another and in the process, I spent some time reviewing and saving my content.

Some 2020 numbers that surprised me…big time.

I knew I had gone into MASSIVE creation mode this year…MASSIVE. but it hadn’t fully clicked until I added these numbers up:

8 programs. EIGHT. Guys. EIGHT PROGRAMS IN ONE YEAR.

See the programs here

5 completely unique free content events-webinars, 3-5 day workshops, hours and hours of content and value, completely free.

and this was the ringer for me: nearly 200 pages of unique email content just this year

I haven’t even capture how many pages I’ve written in the form of instagram content, but I full believe it’s probably close to 300 pages.

300 pages.

Not including infographics, stories, and more that I personally designed, sales pages I wrote and designed and more.

and yet, if you asked me if I believed I could write a book…I would have said no. Why? I don’t know if I could talk about one thing, build it out, AND still be interesting for 200ish pages. And if I did, gosh, it would take years of grueling labor, forcing myself to write, writers block, etc.

Lesson #1: Make impossible goals feel easy by reframing them.

But I wrote nearly 300 pages of unique content. I wrote it easily. I still have LOADS more to say on the topic of mindset being the absolute KEY to our success. And yet…it was easy.

What if that’s the way it was meant to be? Choosing the path of least resistance? finding our Personal strategy for massive creativity? And letting it all come easily?

If I learned anything in 2020, it’s that reframing something can make all the difference in my motivation.

Can I write a 300 page book? maybe. Do I want to? no. That sounds the opposite of fun to me, are you kidding?

Can I write 1 email and be passionate and excited about it? yes. for 100% sure.

And one yes led to the next…and the next.

What if we stopped building our goals up into some unattainable mountaintop experience and learned to reframe them into the next steps that truly motivate us?

What if we committed to 1-2 pages of passionate writing instead of a book? What if we committed ourselves to believing in our own offers wholeheartedly for 1 full day instead of until we hit our money goals? (that’s a long time to believe…and most of us don’t have that much stamina…if we’re being honest.)

What if we believed in ourselves the whole time we took action toward our goals?

And what if, at the end of it…we saw that all the stress, freaking out, and self-doubt didn’t need to happen in order for us to achieve our goals-we added that on by choice.

What if in 2021, you decide you’re worthy of the goals you desire and you decide to take them step by step? What would change for you?

My exact process for closing out a year and creating a fresh start in the new year | Mindset coaching for entrepreneurs

2020 is almost over, CAN I GET AN AMEN?! The election is done, there’s an end in site for the global health crisis of covid-19, and I’m here for it-how about you?

Tony Robbins once said “Success leave clues.” and the idea of finding patterns that I can replicate to compound my success is something I absolutely LOVE to do on a regular basis.

At the end of a year, I love to dive a little deeper and look for success patterns from a bird’s eye view. I always get some really huge aha moments and it fuels my desire for a fresh start for the new year.

I'll be sharing my biggest lessons of 2020 in future post, but for now, I want to share the exact things I look at to close out my year. I believe personality plays a huge role in business process, so for context, I run a coaching practice and I am an enneagram type 2, and a Human Design 5/1 Reflector.

Step 1 | How do I feel about my year?

I personally believe we each have our own way to get the business and life we want-and it starts with us feeling good and trusting ourselves. I look back on my year and ask myself how I generally feel about my year-successful? bummed? Frustrated? excited? What is the general feeling?

I may dive deeper here if I feel like it would be helpful-the most important thing for me as a reflector is not to pressure myself. Here are some questions I ask myself when I want to dive deeper here:

  • A simple SWOT test-my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats

  • What worked? what didn’t? what do I want to try again…but differently?

  • When did I feel most aligned this year? What was I doing?

  • When did I feel least aligned this year? What was I doing?

  • When did I feel in flow and magnetic? What was I doing and how was I feeling?

  • When did I trust myself most confidently?

  • When did I not trust myself? What triggered my distrust?

Step 2 | What trends do I see in my numbers?

This one changes from year to year-I often nerd out about numbers and make all kinds of charts and spreadsheets. I look for patterns to income spikes or dips, what converted well, what fell flat, and what is a profitable use of my time and expertise moving forward.

This year, however, I've grown a ton in regular maintenance of my metrics, regularly and looking for and adjusting patterns month by month. So for my yearly recap, I'm not feeling like doing much here and that is a great sign for me!

Step 3 | what are my biggest lessons for this year?

Then, I often look back through my google calendar, and reflect on what I learned throughout the year. Often, seeing the calendar events can trigger the lessons I was learning at that time.

bonus tip: Honestly-using google calendar is a really great way to create powerful, honest content too-let me know if you ever try this!

This year has been one huge set of growth opportunities and I've learned SO much. I was just free-writing about all I've learned and when I was done, realized that my lessons are so good and may be really empowering to you, so I am going to share my biggest 2020 lessons in future posts. I hope they encourage and inspire you.

And I'd love to hear your biggest lessons from this year-comment below and tell me what you've learned, how you've grown, and what you're ready for next

I think you should host a free event-here's why | Success coaching for service-based businesses

You may have seen me talking occasionally about free events I’m hosting-workshops, a free series, a webinar, you get it. I have one out right now, in fact, and it is going to be magical! It’s called Limitless and I’ve got all the details at the end of this post. Maybe you already know it’s going to be good and you are ready to sign up-you can do that right here!

But...why do I do this-host free events? And why do I think you should try doing this too?

I've structured my business to do some really cool things:

  1. grow with me as i grow

  2. constantly give people a taste of what working with me would be like

  3. give everyone in my world the chance to rise to their next level in the way that's best for them.

Some of the free events I’ve created in 2020 alone! And there’s one more to come this year…keep reading!

We have all different kinds of people in our worlds

Whether you call it your tribe, your audience, ecosystem, or something else, the people who have chosen to connect with you online-instagram, your email list, or somewhere else, are usually in one of three different groups:

The Consumers

I've got people who are ready for free value-They show up for it. They get so much from it. And that's all they need right now.

The Searchers

I have people in my world who are searching-they are experiencing a problem in business and they need help or support. They come to my free live events for clarity and guidance. They get value and start contemplating what working with me might feel like.

The Risers

And I have people in my world ready to rise up through coaching. They come to my free live events to see how they like my style and energy. They imagine what it would be like to be in one of my paid programs, and they eat up every moment of me selling, viewing it as a fun shopping experience.

My free live events serve all three groups, WHILE easily connecting people with the solutions they’re looking for. All the events above have linked to one or more of these different programs-all created in 2020 as well!

When I host a free live event, I get this beautiful opportunity to serve all three groups.

  • I provide the content that helps people see business more abundantly .

  • I provide the time together for people who want to be in my energy and create what I've created in business ($10k-$20k months with ease and empowerment!)

  • And I provide the opportunity to rise up to the next level by creating a fun shopping experience while we're together.

I do these events over and over again-why?

We all grow in our own timeline. I do these events-webinars, free live events, workshops, and so much more, so you can rise when you're fully ready. And to be honest, my free events are epic, fresh content, and they don't even scratch the surface of the amazing knowledge and experiences you gain in my paid programs. Win-win!

So, if you haven't yet, I want to encourage you to host a free live event too.

And if you do this, comment below and tell me about it-what have you done that’s really worked for you?

So, here's what my next free event, Limitless, is:

  • What is it: Limitless is a 5 part series showing you how to deconstruct limiting stories and align to the true story of your inevitable success. Each day you'll get a training (including a STORY! YAY!), a giveaway, and a shopping experience. This isn't a "sales webinar." This is a piece of my heart for you.

  • When do we start? Monday December 7 at 10 am CST-all the trainings will be available until Dec 14 for free.

  • Will you be selling something? Of course! (a few things, actually!) This will be like a holiday market-I'll highlight some special offers each day-no weirdness or pressure or "your life will be the WORST if you don't do this now." just fun shopping for those who want to shop.
